Film, Art, & Music Cultural Party

Bring your lawn chairs, picnic blankets, a few pillows and a group of friends to enjoy a summer evening of film, live music, cultural performances, art, food and maybe some comedy. Hmmm...you just never know! If Finding Gnomes are involved, there's always an element of fun and surprise.

Event (lawn) seating begins at 4:30 pm. From 5-5:30 pm, a series of films will play indoors on the Rainier Arts Center theater screen followed by post-films Q&A with actors and directors. So, plan to come early, claim your outdoor seating space and then watch the films! Then, starting at 6 pm, a jazz ensemble will play, the cash bar opens for business and artists will sell their wares. So sip on a refreshing beverage while you peruse (and buy!) some art. At 6:30 pm, the entertainment will begin! Sit back, relax and enjoy a variety show of musicians and performers. Local restaurants will serve delicious appetizers and sweet treats creating a relaxing and entertaining summer evening out. For each ticket you buy, you will have a chance to win some cold hard cash to purchase art and craft items from our local artists. PLUS, our gnomes are known for hiding little 'gems' (a.k.a. gifts) for lucky event goers to find! You never know what will be unearthed! We will have a brief intermission where folks can purchase another drink from the cash bar and spend their raffle money on a piece of artwork. The event will end around 8:30 pm.

Sliding scale ticket sales ($10-$50) + any additional donations will go directly to (TBD) to help further their mission.
